Children's Medical Research Institute

Mission / Objective

CMRI is an independent research centre which since its inception in 1958 has been committed to unlocking the mysteries of disease, especially in children, via medical research. The CMRI focuses exclusively on fundamental research into human development, digging deep into understanding the basic causes of so many diseases. For, by determining how and why a disease or fault occurs, it may be possible to either correct or modify its effects. Simply put, we need to know what's right before we can cure what's wrong.
