Mission / Objective

Our mission is to defeat cancer. We are working towards the day when lives are no longer cut short by cancer and the effect the disease has on the quality of people's lives will be reduced to an absolute minimum.

Projects in Progress

Research is our largest program commitment. It is central to improving scientific and community understanding of cancer and to supporting all aspects of our work. Our research and support services are designed to make life easier for people affected by cancer at every step of their journey - from prevention and detection, through treatment to support and survivorship. We are also continually expanding our information and support services, translating into practice the wealth of research into patients and carers' needs that we have funded externally and conducted in our own behavioural research facility.
