Mission / Objective

"The Australian Sports Foundation Ltd (ASF) was established in 1986 by the Government to 'support the development of sport in Australia'. The ASF is listed in the ITAA and offers a unique tax advantage to non-profit organizations that register with it, and intend to fundraise in conjunction with a sports development project.The ASF operates the Sport Incentive Program which aims to enhance the quality of life of all Australians through the development of community, business and sporting partnerships. Specifically the program aims to increase opportunities for Australians to participate in sports activities and/or excel in sports performance."

Projects in Progress

"The Australian Sports Foundation is currently working with over 500 organizations representing 40 different sports, as well as councils, schools, community groups and national bodies. Additional funding is sought to support sports projects designed to benefit youth at risk and to support community sports projects in rural areas."
