Projects in Progress

Australian Red Cross offers over 60 community services, the majority of which are delivered by a combination of highly trained, unpaid volunteers and paid staff. Telecross- reassuring phone call by volunteers to elderly or alone. Good Start Breakfast Club- feeding children a healthy meal First Aid- training people how to save a life in an emergency Save-A-Mate- training young people how to cope with substance abuse symptoms Emergency and Disaster Services- supporting Australians affected by disasters Tracing Agency- helping establish family links in times of disaster or conflict Asylum Seekers Assistance Scheme- supporting those who are seeking asylum in Australia
