Mission / Objective

The Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE) is one of Australia's four Learned Academies. ATSE is an independent body of more than 750 eminent Australian engineers and scientists established to promote the application of scientific and engineering knowledge to practical purposes. It provides a forum for the study and discussion of issues relevant to the formulation of public policy for technological sciences and engineering-based activities and the communication of expert advice to Government and the community. It encourages the pursuit of excellence in the technological sciences and engineering and in the management and development of technological industries.
