Mission / Objective

To reduce the impact of dementia on the community. We do this by providing leadership, information, education, advocacy and support for people living with dementia, their families and carers.

Services

Information and support for people with dementia, their families and carers. Information sessions for members of the public in communities all over Queensland. Free help sheets on many subjects for people affected by dementia or their carers and family members. Risk reduction information for good brain health and promotional tours by international speakers are just some of the things we do to raise awareness of dementia in Queensland.

Projects in Progress

Alzheimer's Australia (Qld) is hosting the 2011 national conference in Brisbane. We offer services for people with dementia, their families and carers across Queensland.
